An Exciting Spring Season
We look forward to another fun spring growing in our faith and having a blast with friends here at the church. Thanks to Lisa Sampson, Karla Wilkie, Sue Parker and JoAnn Bieber for helping put together this plan.
Join 7th and 8th Graders from around the community for a night of fun and fellowship following the home basketball game. The event starts at 8:30 p.m., takes place in the lower level of the Community Center; it is sponsored by Cherokee Parks and Rec. February 8: Valentine’s Party
February 21: Ski Trip to Mankato Strap on those skis and head for the slopes! The event is from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to youth grades 7-12. The cost is $60 and includes equipment rental and lessons. Adults needed to drive and help supervise. (Please see the photos below.) March 6: Christian Concert March 22: Car Rally! Buckle up and get ready for another crazy night of zipping around town! The event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is open to all youth. Adults are needed to drive and provide a snack supper. We’ll celebrate the risen Christ with a gift to the church in the form of an Easter Morning Brunch. Youth and adults are needed to help prepare and serve food, and clean-up throughout the morning. The event is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. For more information, contact Karla Wilkie. April 26: Service Project: Midwest Christian Children’s Home We’ll put God’s love into action by serving the Midwest Christian Children’s Home near Peterson with a clean-up day. We’ll have lunch at Godfather’s Pizza after church, then be back by 6 p.m. More details on what to bring later. Adults needed to drive and help supervise. Summer: July 12: Church-wide Pool Party Back by popular demand, we’ll have the whole church take a splash in the Bacon Aquatic Center for a fun pool party. Then who knows….maybe a lock-in afterwards? More details to come!
January 23 Mid-High 5th Quarter Event
In honor of Valentine’s Day, we’ll gather for a fun night of Valentine’s-related food and games, followed by a lesson on love from the Bible. Adults needed for snack supper.

We’ll head out to Spencer for an amazing night of music by Third Day and Brandon Heath, two of the finest artists in the Contemporary Christian music scene. The cost will be announced at a later date, and adults are needed to help drive and supervise. For youth grades 7-12.
